VISITORS
From time to time we receive expected visitors that introduce us to new educational opportunities and fun events!
From Left to right:
Ms. Karen Ritter is a naturalist who does a terrific job of acquiring and explaining themes such as fish, rocks, birds, and animal coverings. Her visits are full of hands on learning opportunities.
Another wonderful visitor is our harpist, also named Ms. Karen. She provides the children here a unique opportunity to be up close and personal with her wonderful harp, cello, and keyboard. She usually visits my home two or three times a year. Ms. Karen is a music teacher so she is very adept at making music fun and accessible to young children.
Ms. Marjorie is a children's librarian with Poplar Creek Public Library here in Streamwood. She visits my home for story time once a month, giving her the opportunity to develop a long term relationship with the children in my care.
